A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF GARLIC (ALLIUM SATIVUM) AND FIBRATES ON LOWERING TOTAL CHOLESTEROL AND SERUM LDL LEVELS IN HYPERCHOLESTEROLEMIC-INDUCED ALBINO RATS (RATUS RATUS) - Quezon City FEU-NRMF ND - 40 pages

ABSTRACT: This research study utilized a parallel group design testing for the one-tiled alternative hypothesis that the effect of garlic is comparable with the effect of fibrates on lowering serum LDL and cholesterol levels in hypercholesterolemic-induced albino rats. The confidence level (CI) was set at 90%, thus having an Alpha (a) value of 0.10 as level of statistical significance.
