ABSTRACT: Coronary artery fistula is an abnormal connection of a coronary artery to cardiac chamber or other vascular structure, which bypass the myocardial capillary beds. Coronary artery fistula of left anterior descending artery draining to the left ventricle is an uncommon coronary-cameral fistula. Most coronary artery fistulas drain to low pressure structures like right ventricle, right atrium or pulmonary artery. The true incidence is difficult to evaluate because about half of the cases may be asymptomatic and clinically undetectable until an echocardiogram or catheterization is performed.
