This is used of two dyes, Heamatoxylin and Eosin (H&E), for demostration of nucleus and cytoplasmic inclusions in clinical specimens, Heamatoxylin is a dark violet stain while eosin is a red or pink stain. The researchers want to distinguish if the duhat dye has the capability of intensity and clarity of the color uptake of cellular components of the cells. The procedure used extraction of fruit extract using decoction method. For confirmation, the researchers used blind test which they invited three pathologists to read the stained slide using duhat dye and stained slide using haematoxylin and eosin as a control. Studies shows that aqueous duhat extract peels was comparable to haematoxylin with strong result of intensity and clarity ER -
