The threefold objective is to describe the demography of the surgeons, to determine their level of satisfaction, and to determine the association between socio-demographic characteristics of the surgeons and their level of satisfaction. On analysis, the findings showed that the typical demographic profile of a surgeon operating in the FEU-NRMF OPD-MSU is a Married Male in the 3rd and 4th decade of life, who lives within an hour of the hospital and has been working in the hospital for more than 5 years. The surgeons in general were moderately satisfied with the typical scenario in the FEU-NRMF OPD-MSU. They were most satisfied with the performance of the staff and personnel and least impressed with the rates and charges. The socio-demographic factors such as age, sex, marital status, department, year of service and distance from hospital did not significantly contribute to the surgeons' level of satisfaction to the variables discussed.
