ABSTRACT: Pre-hypertension is one of the most common conditions affecting human beings worldwide. Hypertension is one of the known modifiable risk factors in developing cardiovascular complications. In the Philippines, an increased prevalence of pre-hypertension among students of Philippine Universities was demonstrated. However, there have been little to no studies about pre-hypertension among medical students. In this study, the researches aimed to determine the relationship of socio-demographic, physiological, psychological and lifestyle changes as risk factors in developing prehypertension among medical students in Far Eatern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation.
