The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of senior high school students about Physical Therapy as a profession compared to other health care professionals. An 11-item questionnaire was administered to 169 eleventh and twelfth grade students enrolled in the second semester in FEU-NRMF 2020, consisting of 115 females (68.05%) and 54 males (31.95%). Results revealed that Physical Therapy placed 7th in the overall ranking among ten medical professions with regards to how the participants perceived the profession in six (6) domains as to the level of physical stress, salary, responsibility, usefulness to society, social image and personal recognition. Findings also show that the common source of their information about Physical Therapy cane from the school. These results highlight the participants' lack of knowledge in regard to the scope of Physical Therapy practice. There is still a need to improve the knowledge of students through formulation of various strategies to further educate the students and the general public about Physical Therapy ER -
