Since then, a series of protocols and guidelines were developed in order to properly manage the health situation in the country. This study presents a segment of data included in the national preliminary reported submitted to the Philippine College of Physicians. This study aimed to describe the laboratory/diagnostic findings, management and clinical outcomes of hospitalized patients with COVID-29 in a predominantly Filipino cohort in a tertiary private hospital. This was a retrospective observational study among RT-PCR confirmed COVID-19 patients admitted in FEU-NRMF Medical Center from February 1 to July 15, 2020. Initial laboratory, radiologic tests, management and clinical outcomes were extracted from patients' health records and were subsequently summarized. In this subset composed of 37 RT-PCR confirmed COVID-19 patients, 20-40years were the most commonly infected. It was noted that the mortality rate in our institution was 8.1%. Difference in the neutrophil count (p=0.0366), lymphocyte count (p=0.0391), FiO2 requirement (p=0.0219), longer length of ICU stay (p=0.0495), and presence of organ failure (p<0.001) were found to be significant. Despite not being a COVID referral hospital, it is important to assess different laboratory parameters and clinical outcomes of COVID-19 positive patients as baseline and aggregative data. This will augment gaps in the data in order to improve policies and protocols in the management and monitoring of COVID-19 patients ER -
