Abstract: The coronavirus disease became a global pandemic in 2020. It is infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. COVID-19 cases are still increasing in the Philippines despite the implementation of the COVID-19 health information campaign. Thus, this paper aims to determine the effectiveness of information dissemination on knowledge and attitude on COVID-19 among Barangay West Fairview community members as a means of disease prevention and health maintenance during COVID-19 crisis. The study used a descriptive cross-sectional design and descriptive statistics to assess respondents' knowledge and attitude4 to measure the effectiveness of the information dissemination campaign on COVID-19. An Adapted survey tool originally developed by Zelalem Desalegn. Negussie Deyessa, Brhanu Teka, and Welelta Shiferaw was used to gather data online from the residents of Barangay West Fairview, Quezon City. Frequencies, mean scores, and percentages were used to determine the effectiveness of information dissemination on knowledge and attitudes of the general population. On the other hand, ranking was used to determine the most abundant sources and content of information on COVID-19. The findings showed that the information dissemination campaigns appear to be effective in the community in terms of their knowledge about COVID-19 with a total mean of 91.67%, and in their attitude in following COVID-19 preventive measures with a total mean of 98.81%. Hence, the research stud determined that information dissemination campaigns on COVID19 in terms of knowledge and attitude in Barangay West Fairview, Quezon City were effective.
