TI - Compliance of FEU-NRMF employees on the basic infection control measures / AV - N 2022 0005 PY - 2022/// CY - Fairview, Quezon City PB - School of Nursing, FEU-NRMF N1 - Includes appendices and bibliographical references; THAN N2 - Abstract: Basic infection control measures are vital to the safety and protection of both patients and health care workers. In particular, the compliance of all hospital employees with basic infection control measures ensures that the well-being of all those who enter the health facility is maintained. Factors such as their knowledge on the basic infection control measures, their institutional commitment, and the training that they were provided by the institution can significantly impact the level of exposure of the entire hospital. This quantitative study gathered 250 employees from the FEU-NRMF Hospital and were asked to answer an online questionnaire utilized by Haridi et. al. (2021), and modified by Amanya et. al. (2021). Preliminary questions pertaining to contacting COVID-19, as well as demographics, were presented before proceeding to the questions regarding the employees' level of compliance. The information gathered was presented through tables, along with the corresponding weighted means ANOVA results and interpretation. Results revealed that Medical Technologists and the Outsource Department ranked the highest in terms of Healthcare Workers Knowledge; Janitorial Staff and the Human Resources Department ranked the highest in terms of Institutional Commitment; and Nurses and Human Resources Department ranked the highest in terms of Training provided for Healthcare Workers. Using ANOVA in the statistical analysis of the data, the researchers have concluded that there is a significant difference between the compliance of the various hospitals employees towards basic infection control measures.
