Abstract: This study mainly focuses on determining whether cancel culture exposure has a significant relationship with the social anxiety development of Grade 12 students from Far Eastern University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation to give understanding and knowledge on how cancel culture relates to social anxiety and how it affects the students as spectators. The study's main objective is to give an overview of the problem and to provide helpful solutions and recommendations to problems associated with the relationship between cancel culture and the social anxiety of senior high school students by answering the research questions. The researchers used a cross-sectional mixed-method explanatory study. For the quantitative aspect, a descriptive-correlational design was employed and an online questionnaire was administered. As for the qualitative part, a phenomenological research design was utilized by conducting interviews to gather detailed information about the perception of Grade 12 students as spectators. After data analysis, result showed that there is no significant relationship between cancel culture and social anxiety and that the two variables have a very weak negative correlation. On average, the respondents are sometimes exposed to cancel culture and are experiencing marked social anxiety.
