Natural disaster cannot be avoided and are pretty common in countries in Southeast Asia where the Philippines is located. Although natural disasters are inevitable, there are ways and solutions on how to prevent, mitigate and lessen the damages done by a disaster. Preparedness and Awareness are just two of the many important factors in which every person needs to have while dealing with disaster related issues. This is where this study focuses. The researchers aimed to know the level of preparedness and awareness in dealing with disasters among senior high school students specifically at Far Eastern University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation. Since this is a Mixed-Method study, there were two research instruments used. A survey and an interview were formulated and conducted to gather the needed information from the senior high school students. The data collected revealed that most of the respondents had high adequate knowledge and were well prepared in dealing with disasters. The majority of the senior high school students from Far Easter University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation had high levels of awareness and preparedness for disasters. Even though most of the students were well aware and prepared, there are still more rooms for growth and improvement since this knowledge was mainly applicable to the most experienced disasters in the Philippines such as typhoons, floods and earthquakes.
