Abstract: For the past year, the world have been fighting a microorganism that causes severe infection that have claimed the lives of many. In the presented case a 29 year old female diagnosed with COVID-19 infection and presented with bilateral lower extremity weakness necessitating assistance for movements associated with pain and tingling sensations. On diagnostics, Creatine Kinase increased frombase line and Electromyography was done revealing asymmetrical myopathic process. Patient and undergone Rehabilitation and as of late, was found to be improving. As more studies are made, experts hypothesized that the affinity of COVID-19 virus to ace converting enzyme - 2 receptor allowing viral entry as well as interferonopathy may be the link to plethora of manifestations of this infection aside from respiratory symptoms as well as gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, neurologic and musculoskeletal symptoms. Immunosuppression and supportive treatment remains to be the management while expert still search for more definitive treatment.
