Guidance and Counseling services have always been a constant facility in various academic institutions. Counseling is a way of helping people to solve their own emotional, social personal, or interpersonal problems. Guidance is one of the platforms for students to help individuals make wise and intelligent decisions for their life, whether in the present or future (Umar et al., 2020). The study aims to determine what are the perceptions and attitudes of Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF) Medicine and Health Allied Students' towards the role of FEU-NRMF Guidance and Counseling Services in Mental Health and Academic Distress since there are only limited studies with regards to the perception and attitudes of medicine and health allied students in an urban metropolis specifically in NCR area. The study was administered through Google Forms and distributed to the respondents via email. or social media platforms. The study's respondents consist of 362 Health Allied Students of FEU-NRMF enrolled in S.Y. 2022-2023 second semester, taken from an overall study population of 4,104. This consists of 44 students from each school. The researches will use the stratified random sampling method. involves dividing the entire population into similar subgroups or homogeneous strata based on a specific demographic factor. Afterward, researches select a random sample from each stratum. The advantages of using this method are; first, it allows researches to analyze and compare the effect size of each stratum individually. This study has shown that FEU-NRMF Medicine and Health Allied female Students perceive the role of guidance counseling services in Mental Health and Academic Distress as positive. It can be deduced from the study that demographics such as the age, class level/year level, course and sex of the participants have a role in influencing their perception and attitude toward guidance and counseling services. This study has shown that FEU-NRMF Medicine and Health Allied Students have a positive attitude towards the role of guidance and counseling services in Mental Health and Academic Distress, wherein female respondents were found to have a more positive perception and attitude towards the role of guidance and counseling towards mental health and academic distress ER -
