ABSTRACT: This study focuses on exploring the influence of self-medication in the skincare practices of senior high school students and determining the different self-medication-inducing factors. This paper also aims to give knowledge and awareness on how self-medication influences skin care practices and the skin health of senior high school students. Additionally, it aims to provide recommendations for arising problems in self-medication in skincare practices. Finally, it was discovered that self-medication in skincare products has both positive and negative effects on students in both the short and long term.
