ABSTRACT: This research entitled “STUDENTS' NETIQUETTE TOWARDS CURRENT FACEBOOK TRENDS” aims to identify the netiquette of 74 randomly selected Senior High School students of Far Eastern University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation towards trends across Facebook. The objective of this study is to identify the knowledge of the Senior High School students on the current Facebook trends and to determine if they are adhering to the rules of proper netiquette. In addition to this, it determines whether the current Facebook trends is significantly affecting their netiquette, having a toll on their online social behavior. This study is a sequential explanatory design, which makes use of quantitative to qualitative methods such as survey questionnaires to interview respectively. From the gathered data, it shows that seventy-seven percent (77%) or fifty-seven (57) students have low knowledge of the current Facebook trends, and eighty-three point eight percent (83.8%) or sixty-two (62) students revealed that they have good netiquette, showing that they are adhering to the proper rules of netiquette. Additionally, from the previous results, the study concludes that the current Facebook trends has no significant effect on the participants’ netiquette on Facebook.
