Multiplanar reconstructed images of two hundred sixty nine patients who underwent diagnostic abdominal imaging and periodic screening presumed to be healthy were reviewed by three radiologist individually for the normal range of sizes of intra-abdominal lymphatic trunks. The widest transverse diameter of the intra-abdominal lymphatic duct at the left paraaortic at the level of the renal hilum were measured and recorded. The average measurement of the three radiologists was analyzed using the Z-test. A total of 269 abdominal CT scan studies of patients with ages 17 - 87 years old were studied. Overall, among the three radiologists the normal range of lymphatic duct is 3.10 to 6.60 mm constituting 95% confidence interval. Among the female and male patients, the normal range is 2.89 to 6.60 mm and 3.18 to 6.64 mm, respectively. Both measurements constitute the 95% confidence interval. The normal range of intra-abdominal lymphatic ducts is 3.10 to 6.60 mm in our study. There is no significant difference in the size of the lymphatic duct among male and female patients ER -
