Abstract: Arachnoid cyst is a benign cyst that occurs in the cerebrospinal axis in relation to the arachnoid membrane that usually contains clear, colorless fluid that is most likely normal cerebrospinal fluid. It occurs in only 1% of all intracranila masses. A case of a 23-year old multigravid at 37 weeks age of gestation with a pre-exisitng arachnoid cyst that previously presented awith severe headache and dizziness via outlet forceps delivery under epidural anesthesia was presented. THis case report aimed to determine the efficacy and safety of regional anesthesia for outlet forceps delivery in a patient with arachnoid cyst and to identify any complications associated with regional anesthesia.
