ABSTRACT: A 53 year old male presented with recurrent hoarseness, diagnosed initially with a vocal fold polyp, which then was re-diagnosed as an inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor, and finally to a vocal fold sarcoma, over a period of 11 months. Immunohistochemestry is needed for a proper diagnosis, and surgery is the mainstay in treating this disease.
