Case Report Male patient 24 year old, from Rodriguez, Rizal who developed clinical manifestations of malaria and was treated with Chloroquine and Fansidar according to malaria guideline. After treating with Chloroquine and Fansidar, the patient developed clinical manifestations of acute hemolysis manifested as anemia, sudden difficulty of breathing abdominal pain, tea colored urine, and presence of Heinz bodies on the peripheral blood smear. In the ward, the patient gradually improve, discharge and work up for G6PD deficiency as outpatient and turned to be positive. ER -
