Several prognostic models for mortality and functional outcome after SICH have been proposed. Hemphill et al proposed a clinical grading scale for SICH, called the ICH score (original ICH olCH) score). Later on, a modified ICH scoring (mICH) was proposed in which a simple substitution of the GCS with NIHSS in the original ICH score was done. Recently another scoring was proposed called Essen Intracerebral Hemorrhage Score which was first used in Essen, Germany.
