ABSTRACT: This is a case of a 62 years old female, hypertensive for 1 year maintained on Amlodipine and Atenolol who had sudden loss of consciousness. She was diagnosed a month prior to consultation with Left Atrial Myxoma. DWMRI was done which revealed varying sizes of acute infarction in the cerebellum and cerebrum with hemorrhagic conversion in the right medial occipital lobe and left medial frontal lobe. 2 D echocardiography was also done which revealed a mobile irregularly shaped echogenic density measuring 5.7 x 2.7 cm attached to the mid atrial septum by a stalk prolapsing into the mitral valve. Left atrial mass consider myxoma.
