The burden of morbidity that it causes both mother and child prompts the clinician to make an early diagnosis of GDM. Women should go through screening and definitive diagnostic procedures. These cause discomfort among mothers apart from its cost. This research aims to predict pregnancy outcome among mothers with GDM using the blood glucose level in the Oral Glucose Tolerance Test. This is a prospective cohort which involved Gestational Diabetes Mellitus patient seen at FEU-NRMF Medical Center from October 2008- October 2009. Demographic profiles such as age, gravida parity, body mass index, co-morbidities, age of gestation, and vices were included. 56 patients were screened but only 48 patients were included on the study 5 mothers underwent Caesarean delivery with a significant proportion noted for subjects with an FBS value of < 95 mg/dl. However, there was no significant correlation on maternal outcome and Oral Glucose Tolerance test ER -
