NICANOR REYES MEDICAL FOUNDATION IN THE SCHOOL YEAR 2006-2007 AV - N20070030 PY - 2007/// CY - QUEZON CITY PB - FEU-NRMF N1 - akhyot N2 - ABSTRACT: This research entitled, "The Examination Anxiety Experienced by the First Year and Fourth Year Level Nursing Students of Far Eastern University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation in the School Year 2006-2007" aims to determine the level of examination anxiety experienced by students in both year level. The researchers devised an "Examination Anxiety Questionnaire". The instrument of statements, each of which were rated by the respondents as "Strongly Agree", "Agree", "Moderately Agree", "Disagree", "Strongly Disagree" to describe the levels of test anxiety they experienced before, during and after examination. It is made up of 30 statements. The study an overall anxiety mean rating of 3.3 for first year level students; that for fourth year level students is 3.4. The difference in the mean rating is not significant at L= .05. Among the recommendations forwarded are: the students should be trained in time management in time management. School administration should provide students with programs on examination anxiety management; and teachers should able to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of their students, in aides to lessen the anxiety that they may experience before, during and after examinations ER -
