About 90 to 95 percent are experiencing type 2 diabetes wherein there is a decrease in insulin production. It occurs more among people who are in late adulthood, but may vary because of the changing health and life style nowadays. Members of the caring profession, especially nurses may also suffer from type 2 diabetes. They may experience hypoglycemia/hyperglycemia, and the signs and symptoms of type 2 diabetes while working in the hospital.
