<br/><br/> ABSTRACT: The primary of this descriptive study is to find out the awareness and attitude of the elderly population in Brgy. Payatas 13 in Quezon City regarding recreational/therapeutic programs. The respondents consisted of 30 elderly individuals ranging from 60 years old and above who are active or do not have any illness/diseases residing at BRGY. Payatas 13. The target respondents were given one week to complete the questionnaire and answer additional queries from the principal investigators. Data was collected at the end of November 2005, and were reviewed by the principal investigators with the respondents to confirm the reliability of the answers.
