In line with this notion, this study aims to describe the caloric intake and physical activity that can contribute to the nutritional status of obese medical students at Far Eastern University-Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation Institute of Medicine (FEU-NRMF IM) with Body Mass Index (BMI) of greater than or equal to 30kg/m2. The results could help improve awareness on the prevalence of poor nutritional status on medical students in the Philippines, allowing them to be more aware of their own health and become models of good health that patients expect their doctors to be. In order to achieve this goal, a survey was conducted and it was found out that the caloric intake and physical activity of the respondents were significantly lower compared to the recommended intake, significantly contributing to the poor nutritional status. Medical students should not only take care of their patients` health, but also their very own health through proper nutrition and exercise despite being in the stressful environment of a medical school ER -
