A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY ON THE COMMUNITY-ORIENTEDNESS OF THE FACULTY MEMBERS OF FEU-NRMF SCHOOL OF MEDICINE ON MEDICAL EDUCATION - QUEZON CITY FEU-NRMF SEPTEMBER 2008 - 35 PAGES

ABSTRACT: FEU-NRMF Institute of Medicine, being one of the leading schools training future great doctors, includes in their focus a community - oriented mind set as stated in the mission - vision. However, it is apparently a question if this occurs in reality. The general objective of the study is to determine the perception of the faculty members of FEU-NRMF on community - oriented medical education. Specifically, this study would like to determine the perception of the faculty members on community - oriented medical education as to teaching and service. As a research design, descriptive study will be used. A sample size of 41 faculty members was randomly selected from the population of FEU-NRMF School of Medicine. A ten - item questionnaire was distributed to the randomly selected samples. Answered questionnaires was collected and analyzed.
