ADVERSITY QUOTIENT OF FAR EASTERN UNIVERSITY - NICANOR REYES MEDICINE FOUNDATION FIRST YEAR TO THIRD YEAR MEDICAL STUDENTS SY 2008-2009 - QUEZON CITY FEU-NRMF 2009 - NO PAGES

ABSTRACT: Adversity Quotient (AQ) is a measure of human resilience. It is a new and emerging field of interest after earlier and more well-known studies on Intelligence and Emotional Quotient (IQ and EQ). Recent studies have shown AQ to be more predictive than IQ and EQ in determining success in the workplace. Medicine students are especially bombarded with stress and varying pressures and AQ may be the decisive skill in triumphing over the difficulties of medical school.
