TI - RETIREMENT PREPAREDNESS OF NURSES IN SELECTED TEACHING ANG TRAINING HOSPITAL IN QUEZON CITY AV - N20140005 PY - 2014/// CY - QUEZON CITY PB - FEU-NRMF N2 - The purpose of the research was to find out if the staff nurses in a teaching and training medical center are prepared for retirement. Due to some limitations, testing a large number of staff nurses was not possible; the research design that was used by the researchers was the descriptive quantitative method, a method that will test a sample from a large group. The procedure involved was gathering data from 50 staff nurses using a questionnaire and using those gathered information to answer the statement of the problem. The gathered data was sampled using a one sample T-Test. The result that was reflected from the sample concluded that the staff nurses are highly unprepared for retirement. The data also concludes that staff nurses are from a young age group hence, their mindset are not yet concerned in preparing for with their daily stress and being. The study recommends that as early as the respondents can, they should prepare for their financial savings, and plan for the retirement. The researchers would also like to recommend that the staff nurses should find themselves stress reliever activities, acquire their annual immunization, and eat more health foods as these are useful ways to maintain a healthy body and mind that also plays a big factor in preparation for retirement ER -
