520 _aAbstract: Tarlov cyst is a rare and usually an asymptomatic spinal lesion that is most commonly found at the lumbosacral area of uncertain etiology. There have been several case studies reported about this disease but its effect on the anesthetic management of pregnant patients with this disease is not readily discussed. This case report presents a pregnant patient diagnosed with Tarlov cyst who was asymptomatic up until few hours prior to delivery when she experienced paresthesia on right knee more prominent during uterine contractions. Instead of regional anesthesia, general anesthesia thru the intravenous route was done due to spinal pathology. The patient tolerated the procedure well and was discharged improved.
