520 _aAbstract: Much has been the impact of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in an individual`s life. Its relapse-remitting and chronic phases can be burdensome and may eventually lead to a lifetime infirmity. More than its unpredictable outcome, this autoimmune inflammatory and degenerative disease mainly affects the white matter of the human brain. The multiplicity of disease generation of MS, in spite of a gamut of established mechanism, its exact genesis remains a mystery. Multiple Sclerosis usually presents with sudden onset of multifocal neurological dificits depending on the site of the lesions. It is ofeten mistaken as cerebrovascular accident until it is ruled out by the utilization of vairous diagnostic modalities that range from imaging studies to serologic and CSF examinations. A case of a 24-year old female with dizziness and vomiting is presented. Different diagnostic modalities have been used to establish the diagnosis of this life long illness. Finally, management of Multiple Schlerosis is a continuous effort requiring close follow-ups to monitor relapse and hopefully to curb the possiblity of evolving into a chronic and disease-resistant form.
