520 _aAbstract: In nursing fields, nurses usually work around the clock and sleep deprivation were inevitable to encounter. Their performances were somehow affected by these instances and thus may also affect the patient's health. This study encompassed the adherence to basic health and safety principles of nursing students assigned to the graveyard ward shift and its relationship with their number of hours of sleep in the pursuit of their quality performances in rendering nursing care services.
