520			_aABSTRACT: The research entitled "An analytical study of the relationship of prophylactic regimens in the incidence of Ankle Sprain among the collegiate basketball varsity players in the 69th season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, discusses about the perceived effects of prophylactic regimens in the incidence of ankle sprain as one of the community acquired sports injury in most of the collegiate basketball varsity players in Metro Manila. Generally, the researchers sought to find out the relationships of prophylactic regimens in the incidence of ankle sprain among the collegiate basketball varsity players in the 69th season of the UAAP; to find out the drills performed by the different collegiate varsity teams in the 69th season of the UAAP; and to analyze the proper execution of the drills based on the normal kinematics of ankle joint. The researchers selected the teams of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines using cluster sampling, each team is qualified with or without a supervision of a physical therapist. The data will be collected using face to face interview, questionnaire & indirect observation.
