Abstract: The induction of general anesthesia is one of the most critical events during patient's perioperative journey. Due to the cocktail of drugs and their individual and combined pharmacologic effects, a myraid of different diagnoses are first thought of before an allergic reaction comes to mind. We present a case of severe anaphylactic reaction to rocuronium and the subsequent tests made to confirm the diagnosis. The objective of this report is to present a rare case of anaphylaxis to rocuronium during induction of general anesthesia and the subsequent investigation to confirm the diagnosis
