Summary: ABSTRACT: Acute Coronary Syndrome accounts for more than seven million deaths each year around the world. Several risk factors have been associated with the development of heart diseases and acute coronary syndromes, which includes hihg level of uric acid. Other risks factors such as smoking, sedentary lifestyle, hypertension, dyslipidemia and hypertension were also associated with ACS. This study aims to determine the level of uric acid level in association with the development of Acute Coronary Syndrome.
