Summary: ABSTRACT: Management of common bile duct stones have evolved since the advent of minimally invasive surgery and the increase in precision of pre-operative imaging studies. Currently, common bile duct stones are managed either endoscopically or by open surgical clearance. To date, there are no studies in the Philippines comparing the two approaches. Hence this study aims to investigate the effectiveness of cholangioscope versus randall forceps in common bile duct stone extraction.
