Summary: Abstract: Spiritual attitude of an individual is vital in the provision of care as this will make the nurse an advocate in believing that there is something that is much higher than ourselves. Furthermore, this will also put the nurse in the state of total care for the patient as he/she will be providing holistic nursing care making the nurse not only theoretically knowledgeable but more importantly that the nurse delivers the core five aspects of a human being. The correlation of spiritual attitude and clinical performance have long been proven as having a high correlation with each other, however this is the first time that it has been done to nursing students if they process a high degree of correlation. To the end of this study it has been proven that there really is a correlation between spirituality and clinical performance as evident by if a student does possess a high spiritual attitude he/she has a high clinical performance and consequently if he/she has a low spiritual attitude thus the clinical performance will also be low.
