Moreover, the Morisky Medication Adherence Questionnaire in the study was adopted to measure the degree of adherence to dietary recommendation in a year-or-no response format. In addition, it has shown that results from the health-related characteristics did not exhibit significant statistical results from the health-related characteristics did not exhibit significant statistical results with a p-value>0.05. Results: The majority of the diabetic employees were males aged between 41 to 50 years old, diagnosed with type 2 diabetes within the past 5 years, had at least one comorbidity, were overweight, and received nutritional education of diabetes, with all of them adherent to the regimen. The study found no significant relationship between adherence to dietary regimen and health-related characteristics of the diabetic employees. Conclusion: Achieving effective management of type 2 diabetes necessitates strict adherence to dietary regimens, regardless of individuals age, gender, comorbidities, BMI, or nutritional education. To optimize the efficacy of dietary interventions, future studies should aim to identify additional factors that could affect an individual's adherence to their dietary regimen. Such knowledge can facilitate the development of personalized and effective strategies to support individuals in managing their diabetes through dietary modifications.
