ABSTRACT: This is the case of a 32-year-old female, a previous smoker, who was admitted due to difficulty of breathing aggravated by physical activity. Physical examination showed decreased breath sounds from mid to base on the right, with chest radiograph revealing bilateral pneumothorax and left pleural effusion. On chest CT patient was diagnosed to have lymphangioleiomyomatosis. Closed tube thoracostomy was done, and supportive medical management was given. Pleurodesis was done after resolution of the pneumothorax.Lymphangioleiomyomatosis is a rare disease, causing formation of cysts in the lungs. Though most of its common clinical manifestations are nonspecific and no cure is currently available, healthcare providers should be able to recognize this disease and deliver prompt management to stabilize the patient
