Abstract: An action program on condom use for family planning was conducted with 65 male respondents aged 15-45 from Barangay 18, Libis Nadurata, Kaloocan City as subjects. This was done to increase the knowledge of the sample population about the proper use of condom as an effective contraceptive device for family planning, its advantages and disadvantages, its correct usage its availability, the barriers and misconceptions tagged on condom use. Their pre-existing knowledge regarding the use of condom was identified through a pretest. Further knowledge were provided to the sample population through house-to-house campaign and holding a seminar with role-playing demonstration tackling the different aspects on condom. Post test was given to measure the gain in knowledge incurred by the sample population Analyzing the results of the pretest and the post test revealed a significant difference (p>0.05) knowledge before and after the campaign - seminar. It shows that the action program in increasing the knowledge about condom is effective.
