ABSTRACT: The use of social media has become a prominent part of our life for many young people today. Most people engage with social media without stopping to think what the effects are on our lives, weather positive or negative. The research investigated the attitude and perception of selected level four students on the use of social media. It identified the most commonly used social media site and determined the attitude and perception of students on the use of social media. The researchers used a descriptive research design in order to investigate the attitude and perception of the respondents. A self-made questionnaire was used in this research and comprises of three parts: the first part was the demographic profile consisting of the name and the gender of the respondents, the second part was a check box regarding the most commonly used social media sites and the last part was to determine attitude and perception of the respondents using Likert scale. The questionnaire was determined to 167 students from Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Medical Technology, Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy of Far Eastern University -Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation.
