Abstract: Care of the elderlyvaries from the care of young and middle adults. The elderly havemore complicated problems, at a high risk for mortality and morbidity, and they usually need more holistic interventions that take into consideration the psychosocial andbiologicalhealth components. This is the purpose why Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) was developed. The study aims to determine the clinical characteristics and outcome in elderly patients (> 60 years old) using the Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) admitted in the ICU-CCU of FEU-NRMF Medical Center. Majority of patients who were were admitted at the ICU of FEU-NRMF Medical Center are 65 to 69 years of age (38%), male (55%), with GCS of 12-15 (65%), majority had cardiovascular diseases (91%), with usual length of ICU stay of < 5 days (62%), and usual length of hospital stay of < 10 days (60%). It is concluded that majority of patients admitted at the ICU of admitted at FEU-NRMF Medical Center were 65 to 69 years of age, male, with initial GCS of 12-15, with cardiovascular disease. Usual length of ICU stay is < 5 days and usual length of hospital stay is < 10 days.
