Abstract: A case of a 1 year - 3 month old male with a history of abdominal enlargement, vomiting, low-grade fever and jaundice is presented. A diagnosis of neuroblastoma was confirmed by CT scan and a CT guided biopsy of the extrarenal mas that is positive for malignant cells and cytomorphologic features consistent with neuroblastoma. Neuroblastoma continues to be one of the most frustrating childhood tumors to manage. Although the tumor has been studied extensively, and great efforts have been extended to secure appropriate therapy and achieve a cure, little has altered the prognosis of these children over the past 20 years. But still, investigate are being continued to find new ways of diagnosing and treating the disease to further limit the number of its victims.
