Abstract: A five-year old male had recurrent attacks of headache accompanied by occasional vomiting. He later on developed squinting of the left eye with progression of the severity of headache. Cranial CT scan and MRI showed a 3.5 x 2.3 x 2.7 cms mass with suprasellar mas probably craniopharyngioma. Craniopharyngioma is a benign but geographically malignant tumor comprising 54% of suprasellar tumors in childhood. Surgical excision is still the main mode of management. The patient underwent ventriculo-peritoneal shunting for decompression and was still for surgical excision of the mass lesion.
