ABSTRACT: The study aims to compare the efficacy of renal herbal medicine versus ketoanalogues in delaying renal failure. Prospective randomized tudy conducted to compare supplementation of ketoanalogues versus renal herbal medicine in delaying renal failure. 30 patients with chronic renal failure were included with GFR measured by creatinine clearance of 30-59 ml/min. The results showed that there was a significant difference noted as proven by the P value of 0.01. The creatinine clearance after using renal herbal medicine was significantly lower than the creatinine clearance after using ketoanalogues. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference noted as proven by the p value of 0.01. The creatinine clearance after using renal herb was significantly lower than the creatinine clearance after using ketoanalogues.
