ABSTRACT: This study was concerned in identifying the top three teaching strategies preferred by the professors and students that would most likely want to be used more often during class among nine strategies mentioned in this study. The study does not attempt to prove that there is a single effective teaching strategy that could be utilized at all times. This study involved the level III professors / clinical instructors and the level III Nursing students enrolled in Far Eastern University Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation during the second semester of school year 2006-2007. To determine their preferred teaching methods, two sets of questionnaires were administered to them. One set was administered to the professors and another was administered for the students.
