Abstract: A survey had been conducted with regards to the compliance of mothers to the Expanded Program on Imminization (EPI) adapted by the Philippine Government at the barangay level. Inspite of the intensive promotion of the EPI among barangays, surveys Showed that death among infants are primarily due to communicable diseases, so we did an Analytical (Cross-sectional) study on the several socio-demographic factors particularly age, sex, educational attainment, social and economic status, occupation, religion and Barangay Maria Clara, Sampaloc, Manila to determine the relationships of this factors to the compliance of mothers in subjecting their children to the program. Results showed that only 42/85 (49.4X) of mothers complied to the program while 43/85 (50.6x) of mothers did not comply to the program. Efforts needed to improve these figures are therefore needed in order to: (1) eliminate if not minimize EPI`s target diseases as public health problems; (2) be able to promote and deliver other primary health care interventions. Therefore, based on results gathered, it can be concluded that socio-demographic factors such as age, sex socio-economic and civil status, occupation, education of mothers have no bearing whatsoever in the compliance of mothers, But the relationship between the number of children and the compliance of mothers to Expanded Program on Immunization is significant (using chi-square test for two independent samples). The lesser the number of children the higher the compliance.
