"GAME KA PA BA?" A STRATEGIC APPROACH TO PREVENT FATIGUE AMONG CAREGIVERS OF CHRONIC STROKE PATIENTS AT FEU-NRMF MEDICAL CENTER REHABILITATION DEPARTMENT - QUEZON CITY FEU-NRMF 2004 - 35 PAGES

ABSTRACT: Section 3X2, CFM III-Action Group of FEU-NRMF Institute of Medicine had presented a seminar entitled, "Game Ka Pa Ba?" A Strategic Approach to Prevent Fatigue Among Caregivers of Chronic Stroke Patients at FEU-NRMF Medical Center Rehabilitation Department. This has been brought up due to the arising needs of the caregivers. There has been a little knowledge on caregivers` fatigue and even the caregivers themselves are not fully aware of this condition. This strategic program had reached out to the caregiver not only to introduce this unidenntified condition but also to help them manage and cope with their stresses in handling and taking care of chronically ill stroke patients. This program has successfully gathered 20 participants from the FEU-NRMF Medical Center Rehabilitation Department. A Knoeledge index of 90% out of these participants was achieved in this study.
