EFFECTS OF QUICK AID BAG AS A KIT ON THE CLINICAL PERFORMANCE OF NURSING STUDENTS

ABSTRACT: The nursing students in Far Eastern University Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation were asked to participate in an experimental study regarding the effects of Quick Aid Bag on their clinical performance. This bag is a kit designed by the researchers, which include specific compartments that can be used to store all necessary nursing tools needed in a clinical duty. The purpose of the bag is to organize nursing tools to reduce the chance of misplacing them and to have a suitable storage space to aid nursing students in their clinical duty, which seems like a growing problem in the nursing field. The researchers selected thirteen 4th year nursing students and ten 3rd year nursing students from FEU-NRMF to partake in the study. Included, as well, are their respective clinical instructors, who will evaluate the students clinical performance during the study.
