CURRICULAR ASSESSMENT OF PERFORMANCE OF ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS AND LEARNING EXPERIENCE OF FEU-NRMF MEDICAL STUDENTS A.Y. 2011 "KAPIHAN SA FEU-NRMF" - Quezon City FEU-NRMF 2012 - 71 p.

ABSTRACT: Evaluation is one of the essential elements of the educational process. Evaluation seeks to answer how well educational needs have been met and educational standards have been attained. Moreover, the students' perception towards the curriculum influences them in studying, performing tasks, and acquiring skills. Thus, the significance of this study is to shed light on problems or issues regarding the learning experience and academic performance of the medical students as to how they perceive the current curriculum. To come up with specific areas to be evaluated, the perceived program logic model of the institute of medicine was checked. Stufflebeam's context, input, process, product (cipp) model of curriculum development was applied due to its comprehensiveness and as mentioned, it can evaluate effectiveness of the developed and implemented curriculum. The researchers used a combination of a validated assessment tool (dundee ready educational environment measure or dreem inventory), self-developed questionnaire, and observations to collect primary data for this research.
